Coronation Stone
Der Stein von Scone (engl. Stone of Scone, [stəʊn əv skuːn]) ist auch unter den Begriffen Coronation Stone (Krönungsstein), Stone of Destiny (Stein der Vorsehung/Bestimmung) oder gäl. Lia Fáil bekannt. Steine mit Fussabdrücken spielen im irisch-schottischen, später dann im britischen Krönungsritual eine Rolle. Es handelt sich um einen Block aus rotem Sandstein von etwa 66 cm x 41 cm x 27 cm Größe und einer Masse von etwa 152 kg.
